The use of sidewalks in Yogyakarta is not fully maximized, considering that its use is disrupted by street vendors who carry out economic activities right in the sidewalk area. So, what is the solution? Urban Acupuncture is a method that tries to analogize acupuncture as a small thing that can be a 'cure' for many diseases. In its application to urban problems, a simple action/intervention can impact the city's improvement at a reasonable cost and can accommodate the facilities of everyday life. In this study, several examples of cities that have successfully implemented Urban Acupuncture will be studied in presenting solutions to urban problems that are qualified.
