In urban areas, conditions are much different from rural areas, namely the regional temperature. This may be due to the rampant construction of high-rise buildings that tend to store heat. Thus, the temperature in urban areas is higher than in rural areas. In addition, it is exacerbated by the situation where green open space is decreasing, which can then increase the temperature of urban areas or Urban Heat Island (UHI). So, what is the solution? This study discusses how the morphometric model can significantly change the state of UHI. Morphometry itself is a variation and change in the shape and size of an object. Thus, if morphometric modeling of urban development is carried out, it is hoped to reduce the adverse impact of UHI.
