Sharing Architecture: Cohousing and Heritage Restoration

The discussion on Cohousing by Ihsan Maulana R. concluded that Collaborative Housing (Co-housing) could be seen as alternative housing for the Indonesian people. Mas Ahmad Dafiq also approved this as a panelist in this webinar. However, more research and studies on Cohousing in Indonesia still need to be done by paying attention to the specific cases.

The second discussion by Ulfa Faradila on Heritage Restoration invited all of us that working in the world of architecture to be more concerned about cultural heritage buildings. In addition to studying, making archives or journals about heritage buildings also needs to be done here. So that future generations of architects will have more knowledge and concern about cultural heritage buildings. The panelists also agreed that having a real experience that can be felt directly is necessary to increase our awareness of cultural heritage buildings.

Public Space Sharing: Urban Sprawl and Open Space

According to Dyah Reyhaniadiva as the presenter with the theme of urban sprawl, he concluded from his mini-research that micro centric development is still not compelling enough so that it serves as a reminder that micro-scale development can be optimized even more.

The second presenter, Sara Kusumaningsih, explained her mini-research, which discussed green open space. From the results of his research, he advised that future architects and regional planners should pay more attention to open spaces because the decision-making is in the hands of future architects and regional planners.

As a panelist, Mr. Rendy Bayu A., S.T., MUP, greatly appreciated the mini-research conducted by Dyah and Sara. "Because big changes cannot be separated from the collaboration of young people," he said.

Mobility Sharing: Micromobility, Bikeability, Mobility in Liveability

The three presenters, Mayong, Haniek, and Delaneira, discussed micromobility and emphasized the importance of prioritizing micromobility, such as walking or cycling, to create a liveable city. We can start small things from ourselves so that they become good habits. Haniek also reminded us that more expansive spaces are needed for discussions and campaigns on the importance of micromobility and non-motorized transport (NMT).

The panelists, Mr. Faza and Mas Arbi, also agreed with the statements of the presenters and invited us to take advantage of the COVID-19 momentum to start switching to environmentally friendly vehicles.
