The design of Rumah Oscar is grounded in the concept of Homey Functional Minimalism, emphasizing the use of functional and efficient furniture and interior elements. Each space in this residence is crafted to support various activities of its occupants, from working to relaxing and socializing. Thus, the design is focused on delivering maximum comfort without compromising aesthetics, aiming to create a cozy and warm atmosphere while retaining a sense of minimalism and modernity.
This residence comprises two floors with a space layout that prioritizes functionality and comfort. The first floor encompasses a cozy reading area, family room, dining area, kitchen, workspace, garden, bathroom, storage room, and carport. Moving to the second floor, it includes the main bedroom, main bathroom, guest room, maid's bedroom, and laundry room.
The selection of materials for Rumah Oscar is carefully aligned with the established concept. In the bedroom area, natural stone is used to evoke a tranquil and natural ambiance. Transparent materials in circulation areas ensure sufficient natural light, enhancing the sense of brightness and spaciousness. For the garage door, perforated steel is utilized to promote better air circulation and provide semi-private views, adding a touch of modernity and functionality to the house.
